Patient Wolverine

What the what? What the heck is a patient wolverine?
I will enlighten you all.

Remember my dad?
I know, I know.
How could you forget, right?

Well he is a scout master and for the past couple of years, he has gone to scout camp.
And when you are awarded the rank of Chief at scout camp, you get a name to go with it.

My dad is Chief Patient Wolverine.
Extremely appropriate, I think.
My dad is very patient and he loves Wolverine.
(He has a bromance with Hugh Jackman)
((Bahaha))

So he grew a beard.

And then shaved it to look like Wolverine.

He is really getting in to it!

Look at the similarities!!

You go, Patient Wovlerine.
Come back from your week of fun safe.

My Little Nugget

My little sister.
Aka. My little nugget.
Took some snap shots of her today.
She is pretty beautiful!

I enjoy the color ones.
Her eyes and the quilt behind her are just beautiful!

But her favorites are the B&W.
So there are more of them.

Isn't it amazing how much different the photos look. . .

With just the change of color?

Well it is up to you!
Which do you prefer?
The B&W or color?

More natural beauty!

Ladies and Gentleman.
The beautiful Bridget.

P.S. She is available boys!!

Taking a look back.

Holy cow!
Spring 2012 has been quite the semester.
So naturally I am SUPER excited for summer :)

Every aspect of my life was a challenge.
Then I had to go and make school a challenge.

Feeling adventurous I took 17 credits.
NEVER AGAIN.
I don't know what possessed me to do such a crazy thing but it happened.
With half of my classes being art, it made it about 100X worse. Don't get me wrong, I loved them. Super stressful and time consuming but they were good overall.

But the point of the story. . .
Someone please shoot me before I sign up for 17 credits again.

Honestly, the only way I got through it was through Heavenly Father's help.
I couldn't have done it without him.
I have never been closer to my Savior before this semester. Most days when I felt like I couldn't go on and felt like running to my aunt's or sprinting in the opposite direction to California, He was there and gave me the strength to continue.

So even though it was beyond hard. Even though I cried through most of it.
I have learned so much about myself, other people and other quality life lessons.

I have found that no matter what people think, I know that I am an imperfect person. Trying to do my very best to be happy, kind and more like Christ in my words and actions.
So even though I am not perfect. I am loved by a perfect God, who will and has never left me alone.

So in the words of President Monson, I have honestly and truly found its better to look up.

Color Photography Final Portfolio!

Well Color Photography has certainly been an adventure this semester. . . But I am so excited about my score I had to share some of the highlights.

My beautiful sister.
Always a constant example for me.

 My fabulous friend, Aretha.
We had many fun times this semester and I look forward to more!

My most recent animal friend. I have named him Tristan.
Why? Who knows with me. . .

 The forever beautiful Krista.
She is wonderful inside and out.

 The orange flower.
I think it turned out pretty cool looking!

The stormy steam pipes.

 Stevey and the sparkler!
Love how you can see the stars and everything.

 Brick wall of St. Anthony
Someone loved this one so much that they bought it and took it off my hands. Wow!

The red stick.
I have been having fun taking on a new perspective of things that we see all of the time.

Oh, how I love taking pictures!!

RCT Proudly Presents Hello Dolly!

So a couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of going to the Rexburg's Community Theater's production of Hello Dolly. And you know what? It wasn't bad! Not bad at all!

But the highlight for me?
My aunt was in it :)
She is a rockstar.
See that outfit?
She made it.
Best looking one out there.
No lie.

She was also in my favorite song. . .
Put on Your Sunday Clothes!
Never heard of it?
Yes you have.

If anything you have heard it in Wall-E.

Here are her kiddos giving her the congratulation hug.
It was well deserved.

Aren't they sweet? :)

Both of my Rexburg aunts. Love these two so much!

And last but not least. . . .
SURPRISE!
My grandparents showed up to watch her perform!
Shocking but it was a grand get together.

Overall, it was a fabulous night full of fun and smiles :)
It was so fun to watch my aunt do her thing on stage.
Especially after all of the work that she put in it!
I love her so much!
She is literally my mom when I am up at school.
Oh what would I do without her!

So hopefully she doesn't kill me for posting these :)
Love you LULU! <3

The Beauty of Orange

So I called this post the beauty of orange because there is a lot of orange in the pictures and I really enjoy them. And I am not clever enough to come up with another title.

I have been thinking a lot about my blessings recently.
A lot, a lot!
And one of them that I think that we don't appreciate enough is the beauty that our Heavenly Father gives us to enjoy here on this earth. I know that I take it for granted. Recently, I have been in the habit of running around like a chicken with its head cut off, trying to get everything done.
But it is nice when you have some time (even if it is just 15 minutes!) to just look around you and think, "Wow! We are truly blessed."

I love trying to capture everything as I see it in person. Something I need to work on obviously because this picture does not do the sunset I saw justice!

How blessed we are to have this earth to live on!
Just take the time to be thankful for what we have been given.
He has given us so much.

Taking my camera everywhere had been somewhat strange but I love having it with me so I can capture whatever I want, whenever I want. Not just for my Photography class.
I want to make this a habit even after the semester is over (which can not end fast enough!)
Why?
Because!
I feel that with more practice that I have, the better that I will be.
I want to be the best that I can be!
Practice makes almost perfect :)

Whitney's Suprise Bridal Shower

You are invited to enjoy the following. . .

My roommate Whitney is engaged to be married! Exciting, no?
Anyways the bridal shower ended up being a surprise!

Surprise Whitney!
I think we succeeded :)

Then they played pin the mustache on the groom!
Krista was the guide.
Recognize the beauty below?
YOU SHOULD!
More pictures of Krista here

Look at that stud! And you will never guess who won. . .

Okay how cute is that!!

 Someone is super excited!!
Look at that beauty.
FYI: She is off the market boys!

Then they watched Whitney answer questions about Ryan and if she got it wrong she had to chew a piece of Hubba Bubba!

It started off pretty fun!

But then she kept getting the answers wrong. Bahaha!

The pain!!

The final piece of gum. Her tongue was so pink!

Holy COW!

Then it was present time!

I am so excited for this girl!
She has a fabulous life ahead of her.

And of course Sierra gave her some lingerie!
Wouldn't be a bridal party without it!
Haha. Her face was priceless.

Afterwards, they all mingled and had a great time!

Sierra is a RIOT!

The whole crew!

Whitney and her future maid of honor and best friend, Brittany!

Such happiness!
Congrats & Best Wishes to you both, Whitney!
