Our young women did this great Spaghetti Dinner for the ward and then afterwards a dessert auction to raise $$$ for them to go to Girl's Camp.
I am a lover of Girl's Camp. I went all 6 years. It is an amazing spiritual and fun atmosphere to be in and participate in. My testimony grew so much throughout those short weeks and I only wish for other girls to have that experience in their life too.
Alright, enough with the sappiness! Let's get to the action.
Didn't get a picture of everyone's desserts because I got sucked back into the bake sale as the even began but they were all gorgeous! So much love and time went into these tasty morsels. Good work to all of the young women who gave their talents, time and energy!!
This is one of my favorite ward activities. Everyone gets into the bidding for the desserts and is very generous at the bake sale. Lots of laughter and friendly competition. And in the end, everyone walks away with some sweets or the opportunity to go to Girl's Camp. Everyone wins!
One of the best causes to contribute to that I can think of.
