First, let me just say that my dad is the best dad in the world! He took us to Orlando, FL again for our final hurrah! With B going off to school and us being on separate schedules, who knows when we will all get together for a vacation again.
So its like they say, GO BIG OR GO HOME. And oh baby, did we go big.
Never been to Orlando, Florida? Do you enjoy happiness? Do you enjoy making lifetime memories? Do you enjoy having the best time of your stinkin' life?! Well then, you should consider this destination for future excursions.
What did we do in Orlando you may ask? We did everything! We were there for a whole week! We spent a couple days in both Universal Studio parks ( BECAUSE HARRY POTTER LAND IS A DREAM COME TRUE ), a couple days in the Magic Kingdom and one day in Epcot.
Epcot is a lot of walking around but is so worth it! There is so much to see and I love the walking around the world vibe.
Magic Kingdom is pretty much Disneyland. However, Fantasyland changed alot in the past few years. Ariel, Rapunzel, and Belle now have little sections in Fantasyland. So the Magic Kingdom is pretty wonderful. I was in absolute heaven. And yes I am 6 years old and saw all of the princesses. Do I care? No. I was in heaven.
Harry Potter World is just SO magical! I recommend it to any level of Harry Potter fan. It is such an experience. There is the Castle, Ollivanders, the Three Broomsticks, Hagrid's Hut and so much more! Really wish it was bigger but hey. It was still pretty great.
Universal Studios was way fun too. We have never been to the original Universal Studios before so it was a fun experience. Our favorites were definitely The Revenge of the Mummy, the new Rock It Rollercoaster, the Simpsons Ride, and Despicable Me (usually not a fan of 3-D shows but we got to dance with minions aferwards :) )
Basically, I was on Cloud 9 the entire time. We Gehlbachs know how to have a good time. So glad we went on a family. Now enough reading! Enjoy some of the pictures I took throughout the fun packed week.
XOXO
