As time consuming and stressful as it was, I found that even people who can't draw or be extremely creative can produce something decent. And I fell in love with it. What can I say? After all of the struggle, how can you not fall in love with the great outcome?
First print - Daphne: Giraffe look familiar? That's right! It's Daphne from the SLC Zoo.
I took some of my animal shots and traced to get the right shapes.
Experimented with some of the different processes
Second print - Ollie & Torpedo: Hard ground, soft ground and aquatint! (Super challenging to get the right outcome, for those who don't know.) Victory dance! Go me.
