The Class that (Almost) Killed Me

ART 230
Graphic Design.
Class from Hell.
Whatever you would like to call it. (Personally, I refer to it as the 3rd but usually go with the 2nd in mixed company.)

What I gave up for this class: blood, sweat, tears, too much $$$, my emotional well-being and my sanity. Worst roller coaster of my life. But I learned SO much from it. Amazing how that works, isn't it?

So much for you to check out!
(Side note: My little BONUS notes mean that my prof choose to hang it in the gallery to represent the class and the assignment.) AWW YEAH!

First: Alphabet made out of everyday objects. My everyday object? Food. More specifically? Pretzels. Obviously.  **BONUS!
Second & Third: We got words and had to combine them and create it into a business. Then create that fake business' logo. The second was furniture and flowers/potpourri. Whoever wrote that down is still on my list. . . Oh my word!! The third is New York City and watches. Not the best but for a couple weeks worth of work and switching word assignments half-way through, I am content. **BONUS!
Fourth: Advertisement for my anti-bullying campaign. Basically it is freaking amazing and I love my roommate Mariah for letting her write all over her arms in sharpie. Thought it turned out so good. I would really put that poster around. **BONUS!
Fifth: My design for a poem written my a student on campus. It is called On The Doorsteps. Her piece made into The Outlet Magazine that appears annually to showcase both English and Art pieces. It is a fabulous magazine! And this spread was chosen to be in it! :) BIG BONUS!! How many students can say they have been published? (P.S. Yes that is me in the photo with Hobbes;) )

Enjoy

XOXO
